My food passion has led to an honorary mentioning in a magazine cooking contest, a stint in a medieval restaurant kitchen in Munich, and producing restaurant newsletters in NYC. How to boil eggs

i was taught never to cover the boiling eggs and alwas ”scare” the eggs by rinsing them in cold water.
Now my favorite way is to put the eggs in cold water, cover and when full boil to set the timer on 6 minutes. Then pour out hot water and fill with cold water. Let sit for 10 minutes. Easy to peel and nice texture.
